The End of Myth and the Coming of Nihilism

Abstract

This paper analyzes some patterns of Humanism in the perspective of a planetary paideia. The idea of education developed in the essay, e.g. the concept of paideia connected to the idea of human responsibility, can be, according to the author, a true alternative to the nihilism in contemporary age.
